The work by Diogo Pimentao is the new acquisition of a Milanese art collector. It is both a drawing and a minimalist sculpture, an origami at human scale. The strong presence of the work in the apartment meets its proper lightness and reminds to Zero artists, with a contemporary taste.
Born in Lisbon, 1973, Diogo lives in London. In the last two years, he exhibited at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, Galerie Éduard Manet – Centre d’art Contemporain, Gennevilliers, Fondation d’entreprise Ricard, Paris, CAB Art Center, Brussels and MAMAC – Musée d’art Moderne et d’art Contemporain, Nice.
