Last March 30, Biennale di Venezia announced that the Golden Lions for Lifetime Achievement have been awarded to Belgian dancer and choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (info: http://www.labiennale.org/it/danza/news/30-03.html).
Up to May 17, at Wiels Bruxelles, De Keersmaeker expands her one hour stage piece Vortex Temporum, choreographed on the music by composer Gerard Grisey, into a 9 hour performances. The result is a project that transforms dance and its language in a new exhibition format, that changes during time and space (info: www.wiels.org).
Moreover, at Wiels, is open Body Talk: Feminism, Sexuality and the Body in the Work of Six African Women Artists, a very interesting exhibition. To read a review: http://www.artribune.com/2015/04/body-talk-lafrica-e-donna-al-wiels/
